Gas Forced Air heating systems are used in central air heating/cooling systems for homes.  Generally they have a furnace where the air is heated by natural gas which is pushed through duct-work, then through vents to heat a building.  The natural gas is fed to the building from a main gas line a few feet beneath the earth.  It is likely that the gas supply line for your building is buried under and parallel to a street.

Steam & Hot Water Boiler uses an energy source (fossil fuel, electric or sometimes solid fuels) to heat water for space heating.   In residental and industrial use, when water is heated for other than space heating, it is sometimes known as Domestic Hot Water.

Heat Pump/Dual Fuel refers to an electric heat pump and a fossil fuel furnace, normally gas or oil, all  in one.  When temperatures are above freezing. approximately 35 degress, a heat pump may be the most efficient way to heat your home because of the lower cost of electric power.  When temperatures drop below freezing, a gas or oil furnance provides more econonmical heat.  By combining the two, you have the benefits of both systems to heat your home.  Proper sizing and installation of equipment is critical to achieve optimal performance.

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) deals with the control of a variety of airborne pollutants that are found in the interior air in a building and how they could affect the health and comfort of the building's occupants.  Indoor air pollutants are associated with many health risks including asthma.  An HVAC system can be enhanced with specialized ventilation, filtration , and source control features which help to improve the indoor air quality in most buildings.  Common pollutants include molds and other allergens, asbestos fibers, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, ozone and naturally occurring compounds.

Custom Sheet Metal Duct Fabrication supplies the hot air (and sometimes cool air if an Air Conditioning unit is tied into the system) to vents throughout the building.  Our in house fabrication shop will custom make duct work which fits better with existing ventilation systems.  Custom duct work is more efficient and less intrusive then pre-fabricated duct work.
